Elise Marra is originally from Detroit, Michigan, but now lives and works in London. 

Elise has been writing since she was 9 years old. Her first novel was published at 11 and her first musical finished at 13. Elise became the youngest female composer to reach the Billboard Top 10 Broadway with her cast album Frankie! The Musical. Since then Elise has written seven musicals and seven plays. Her most recent one woman show 'Picture This' a musical horror comedy was performed to sold out audiences at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Elise's work has been performed across the world including NYC, London, Edinburgh, Detroit and Kansas City.

She recently was awarded 'Best Fiction Film' at the Studio Brunel Film Festival in March of 2024 for her short film 'Sounds Suspicious'.
